Caroma Pedigree II Soft Close Toilet Seat

The Caroma Pedigree II Soft Close Toilet Seat (320040W) is a premium, heavy-duty replacement seat engineered for domestic, commercial, and aged-care environments. Compression-moulded from solid Urea Formaldehyde, it is built to withstand intensive daily use and is weight-rated to 250kg.

Fitted with a soft-close mechanism, the seat lowers silently to prevent slamming and protect fingers. Rotatable buffers on the seat and flap absorb impact and reduce noise. Includes Caroma GermGard® antimicrobial protection — tested to kill a minimum of 99% of bacteria on contact.

GermGard® antimicrobial technology
Unlike standard toilet seats, the Pedigree II incorporates Caroma’s proprietary GermGard® formula, which is permanently embedded into the seat surface — not a coating that wears off. It is independently tested to JIS Z 2801:2010 for efficacy against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli (E. coli), making it an excellent choice for hygiene-critical settings and households with young children or immunocompromised family members.

Soft-close and easy installation
The soft-close hinges slow the seat and lid automatically as they near the pan, eliminating the sharp crack of a slamming seat. Metal adjustable blind-fixing hinges allow quick top-mounted installation with no visible fixings from above. The hinge position is adjustable to accommodate minor pan variations.
