Is your toilet seat branded “Nahm”? Parisi toilets use high-quality Nahm (Thailand) ceramics and seats. If your seat has the Nahm logo embossed under the lid, it is likely one of three models. The Envy (PN5112) is the most common and is characterized by egg shaped front where the seat comes back towards the middle a bit towards the cistern.

Envy(This model): Egg Shaped or oval

Sorrento: Very similar to Envy but slightly different dimensions—check your pan length and the seat continue back straight to the cistern. More D shape.

Quasar: Distinctly square with sharp corners.

Upgrading from Dome Hinges? When replacing the old-style dome hinges, you must remove the original fixings entirely from the pan. The new stainless steel fixings included in this kit provide a more stable, “wobble-free” fit and sit much flatter against the ceramic for a cleaner, modern look.

To take the old ones off, use a tiny flat head and unscrew from the left and right little holes. The larger plate will slide out and expose a bottom plate with a screw which you unscrew and pull out.

Q: I have the old large silver dome hinges. Can I buy just the hinges?

A: No, the original dome hinges are no longer manufactured. However, this complete PN5112 Seat Kit is designed to retro-fit those older pans perfectly. The benefit of this upgrade is the Quick-Release technology, making it much easier to keep your toilet hygienic.

Q: How does the Quick-Release button work?

A: There is a small button located on the underside or center of the hinge area. Simply press it, and the seat lifts straight up off the pins, allowing you to scrub the porcelain underneath without any tools.

Pro-Tip: Don’t Lose the Nut!
When installing the new top-fix hinges, you need to be careful with the butterfly/toggle clip that sits underneath the pan.

The Danger Zone: If the nut is sitting too low on the tip of the screw, and you accidentally turn the screwdriver the wrong way (loosening instead of tightening), the nut and butterfly clip will drop off the end of the screw.

The Consequence: On “Back-to-Wall” (BTW) toilets, the pan is sealed to the wall. If that nut drops, it falls into the cavity of the porcelain where you cannot reach it.

The Fix: You would then need to purchase a completely new set of hinges just to get that one nut.

Safety Step: Before inserting the hinge into the hole, ensure the nut is threaded onto the screw by at least 1–2 centimeters. This gives you plenty of “travel” to tighten the screw without the risk of the nut falling off.

Note: These replacement seats are an upgrade to Soft-Close technology, even if your original seat slammed shut. These replacement seats include Universal Top-Fixing kits, which means you don’t need access from underneath to fit the new seat.
